Frequently asked questions

These are questions that are frequently asked in messages, facebook posts, emails, and more. We hope this page can provide some clarity on those most frequently asked questions!

where should I park?

We do have a small parking lot to the east of our building, between our store and the strip building on the corner of 4th and Sanford Ave. There is also plenty of free street parking on 4th Street and up and down Sanford Ave.

Please be advised that you are not permitted to park in the JALY parking lot before 6 pm, or in the yard parallel to the Yardery, which is privately owned property and you may be towed. The Yardery does not assume responsibility for parking or towed vehicles.

Do we offer catering?

We do offer off-site catering! Please make a request via the events tab or chat message on our webpage.

3

Do we offer take out?

Yes! Our entire menu is available for take out and you can order online here

4

Can I make a reservation?

The Yardery does not accept reservations, due to our all-outdoor and open seating plan. All seating is first come first served as we do not have a Hostess or Greeter. We do offer semi-private, catered parties where you can pay to reserve space in the yard for your special event, and your food is pre-purchased and served buffet style. You can find more details under the event inquiry tab.  We also offer a minimum food and beverage spend reservation with parties of 10-19 people. Each of these options require a contract in place with a credit card on file. Please find more details here

Are pets allowed?

The Yardery is dog-friendly! We even have a permit from the city that says so. We have water bowls for them and require them to be kept on a leash. We'd love to have you and your pooch eat, drink and play in the Yard! Please note that the Yardery is all Astroturf, and you must bring your furry friend outside of the yard for them to use the bathroom.

6

Is outside food or beverage allowed?

Outside food is not permitted. The only exception to this rule is a celebratory cake or dessert for special parties and events. Open containers of any kind from other establishments or coolers are not permitted and you will be asked to drink it or dump it before you enter the Yard.  This is not only a health code violation but also puts our liquor license in jeopardy, and is a safety concern as we do not allow any glass in the yard.  This goes for event days as well. Thanks for understanding!

Do we sell gift cards?

We do offer E-Gift cards which you can purchase here
